New Year’s Eve is shaping up to be huge, with something happening in every corner of the Hastings. Get the best view in town for the 9pm fireworks on level 6 of the Mercure! Entry is $5 and includes nibbles. The bar will be open and everyone is welcome to come along! No need to book, there will be payment facilities at the door.
Looking for somewhere for dinner first? Make a booking downstairs at Birdrock Bar & Grill then it’s just a quick trip up the elevator for the best view.

If music is your thing, TPT is the place to be on NYE! Ross Ruprecht and his band are playing from 6pm followed by DJ Jimmy Laing from 9pm ‘til late.

Throw on the Hawaiian shirt and head to Lake Cathie Tavern for plenty of beach inspired food and drinks along with live music with Andrew ‘Besty’ Best from 7pm!

AJ Davis will lead her super popular Wednesday night trivia on NYE with a Y2K themed twist. Stick around for Y2K tunes with a DJ set to follow and count down to midnight!
Trivia will be held in the Pavilion, so make sure you chose that option when booking your table.
Wauchope’s biggest NYE party with DJ at Hastings Hotel.
If you hail from Wauchope and beyond, there’s no need to travel into to Port Macquarie this NYE, stay local at the the Hastings Hotel with DJ playing from 8pm ‘til late!

Say good-bye to the year - Shack Style. Join us for our NYE Luau with VIP area access, a welcome drink on arrival, VIP bar and canapes from 6pm. A live acoustic sesh from 6pm-9pm will ease you into the night, before the house music takes you through to your midnight moments. Dress in your best tropical attire and get ready to get lei'd!
